The 24-meter custom YXT 24 project has arrived at the Dutch yard’s facility in Nijkerk, where it is expected to be completed in 2018 and then delivered to its American owners.

Boasting a sporty exterior design by Diana Yacht and Bernd Weel studio, YXT 24 is an evolution of the previous version built upon the same steel platform, yet featuring additional accommodation, various wellness areas and 75 square meters of free beach deck space for watersports days at anchor, which makes this support vessel also a good live-aboard option.

The interior layout by Frank Darnet Design features a double guest cabin with a Pullman berth and ensuite bathroom, as well as two double cabins for four members of crew. The main storage deck is meant to carry all sorts of toys and the owner’s Land Rover Defender.

The boat’s power comes from two Caterpillar C12.9 engines, allowing for the top speed of 13 knots and a range of 1.400 nautical miles at an economical speed of 10 knots. YXT 24 was bought in May by an American couple and is due for delivery in the summer of 2018.

Lynx Yachts was founded in 2011 by a Tunisian-born engineer and yachtsman Slim Bouricha, claiming to have a particular vision of how multifunctionality in yachts should be addressed. The yard's fully-customable YXT line includes a 20, 24 and 36-meter ranges.
