CRN launches 86-meter Explorer Yacht
The Italian historical shipbuilder has teamed up with the acclaimed British studio Harrison Eidsgaard to deliver an 86-meter «go-anywhere» project under the name of Explorer Yacht.
Close cooperation with leading international designers allows CRN to offer explorer superyachts that have always been part of the company's DNA. Indeed, back in the 1980s, the yard became a pioneer in the international pleasure boating by introducing the first explorer yacht F100 designed by Gerhard Gilgenast.
«With Harrison Eidsgaard, we now want to go back to those values that have led us to be what we are today. We are really excited about this new cooperation, which has resulted in a very original concept», explains Stefano de Vivo, CRN's Chief Commercial Officer, the mission behind the newly launched concept.
Considering the «explorer» character of the project, the exterior features dedicated areas for a large number of tenders and water toys neatly incorporated into the refined architecture of the yacht. One of these installations is the forward davit able to easily lift, launch and haul tenders and toys, measuring up to 50 tons.
The airy guest quarters with wide windows and extensively glazed surfaces have been designed with that to ensure the constant relationship with the sea. The crew areas, in turn, are separated from the guest living areas for a discreet service onboard. The centerpiece of the interior layout is a spectacular terrace running along the entire owner's deck meant to recreate the atmosphere of an exclusive loft in New York.
Part of Ferretti Group, CRN specializes in building bespoke steel and aluminum yachts ranging from 40 to 100 meters in length. Among the projects under construction at the Ancora-based yard is the 62-meter NL 303 developed in tandem with Nuvolari Lenard.
