CRN has announced that its steel-hulled 50-metre superyacht, previously known as Project Superconero is launched and christened Latona in private atmosphere at the shipyard this week. The project is a result of the partnership of Ancona shipyard's engineering team with Zuccon International Project, who is responsible for the design of the yacht.

The steel and aluminium yacht has a sleek design, with a beam of 8.6 metres and a total interior volume of just under 500 GT. Another key features including a fold-out balcony and a superyacht beach club, which can be turned into a tender garage.

“Every launch is a reason for great pride for the shipyard,” said CEO Alberto Galassi. “This complex, magnificent, 50 metre construction realises the desire of a selective and resolute owner, who has turned to the expertise and the ability of CRN to build his personal project, turning his vision into a magnificent vessel.”

The power comes from a pair of 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32 diesel engines hitting a top speed of 15 knots, and has a transatlantic range at 11 knots.
