This winter, gigantic installations decorated the mountains in the most unexpected places.

Crying Animals is an art project by French artist Julien Nonnon with an important environmental message. His goal is to draw human attention to the problems of environmental destruction.

The scene of action Nonnon chose the French Alps. With the help of a super-powerful projector, he projected images of animals, whose existence in this area is now under threat, onto the rocks.

The “heroes” of the project were representatives of more than ten species, including bears, wolves, lynxes, deer, owls, eagles, etc. All of them were captured in dramatic poses, which makes the project truly convincing.

This is not the first Nonnon initiative. The artist became famous for his light installations on the streets of European cities.
