With its 300 days of sun a year and lush nature Tenerife never disappoints. The island offers a gentle mixture of luxury and quietness, which for a modern man sounds like paradise. Recently, Tenerife’s jewel-box got the new gem. Barceló Hotel Group, the 3rd hotel chain in Spain and the 42th largest in the world, launched a brand new Royal Hideaway Corales Resort in February.

The five-star property is located on the southern end of Tenerife island, approximately 25km away from Tenerife South Airport. It is divided into two distinct areas with one designed exclusively for adults and the other to cater for the entire family.

The adult specific ‘Corales Beach’ (the hotel accepts guests aged 16 and over) is created exclusively of Junior Suites and boasts spacious terraces with a mind-blowing ocean view and floor-to-ceiling windows. Some of the suites feature a hot tub.
The family-friendly ‘Corales Suites’ consists of 114 one, two or three-bedroom deluxe ocean-view suites with private terraces equipped with awnings. Each apartment boasts an airy large living room, which is perfect for the cozy family evenings.

This is definitely a smart decision to satisfy demands of different audiences without losing one of them. The tailor-made holidays are the priority here.

Built by renowned Spanish architect Leonardo Omar, originary from Tenerife, and designed by the renowned MKV Design (London), together they have created an innovative modern resort with cutting-edge design. They managed to blend the design into the surrounding natural space. The sleek and modern aesthetic reflects the name of the hotel.

The communal areas feature fractures geometry designs, which is inspired by the intricate formation of coral. From the outside, the fabulously stylish hotel looks like the extravagant cruise ship.

The luxurious hotel, situated next to the picturesque town of La Caleta with many restaurants and a sweet promenade, overlooks Playa Enramada beach. Even if you are picky about hotels, it will surpass expectations. Royal Hideaway Corales Resort was l named ‘The Best Future Hospitality Building 2018’ at the European Hospitality Awards.

«We strive to make every guest experience totally unique and believe this will be the place to stay in Tenerife for families and couples,» said General Manager, Fernando Turnes shortly before the opening.

Gourmets will be impressed by nine restaurants and bars, with four exclusively for guests staying at the adults-only Corales Beach. The dinners can be served by the pool and offer a wide range of delicious fresh seafood, including fresh fish and lobster. A wide choice of dining establishments will suit even food snob’s taste.

The main restaurant, Olivia, located in the family section, serves Mediterranean buffet cuisine, a la carte terrace restaurant Starfish tempts with fresh grills and ocean views, San Hô a la carte restaurant combines the very best of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Maresía The Roof, a chilled-out rooftop lounge bar with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, is a must to celebrate the end of the day with a glass of wine or cheerfully start into the night with a cocktail.

While adults enjoy the high-end cuisine, the children can taste homemade ice-cream at the traditional Italian gelateria in the parlor. Breakfast is served buffet style.

The three outdoor pools are also divided into adults only and family-friendly zones, each area is equipped with comfortable sunbeds. The Wellness area has everything that a five-star accommodation should provide. There’s an adults-only spa with an array of pampering treatments and massages, hammam, sauna and state-of-the-art gym. The spa center includes 7 luxurious suites for beauty and wellness treatments, a Spa boutique, a hydrotherapy circuit with hydro-massage jets, swan neck jets and waterfalls, steam bath, sauna and sensations showers.

There is also a kids club and an entertainment program for children (ages 4-16).

For those who prefer practice sport in the open air, there’s a Golf club Costa Adeje which you can reach in 5 minutes using a free shuttle service. Guests also can take advantage of bicycle sharing to explore the local area.

The first guests seem to be in love with the new hotel.

«Staff at the hotel really are the embodiment of customer service, the hotel is very new and yet to fulfill its capabilities however it's excellent location at La Caleta literally ensures that luxury getaway,» wrote a guest from the United Kingdom in his review.
