Tech juggernaut, Google has introduced its new Pixelbook at its annual hardware event. The product becomes Google's third iteration on a laptop, which is perhaps best described as a hybrid between a laptop and a tablet.

With prices starting at $999, the Pixelbook's screen can be flipped around to essentially turn it into a tablet with keypad acting as a support mechanism. At the same time, the Pixelbook is also a fully functioning laptop with 128GB of storage and two USB-C ports.

The most notable iteration with the Pixelbook is however Google's switch from considering the Pixel laptop as a product line it's still testing out, to a product that it wants to put in front of a wider audience, going against established laptop builders. As an added benefit, the Chrome OS, which powers the Pixelbook can run Android apps.
