This three-axis leviathan is called Hennessey Goliath 6x6
Texas-based Hennessey Performance, known for its sports car tuning projects, decided to repeat the successful two years ago experiment (the project called the VeliciRaptor was based on the Ford-150) and again create a six-wheeled pickup based on the Chevrolet Silverado. As mentioned earlier, Silverado was taken as the basis for the “off-road” version of the Trail Boss Z71 with a double-row cab.
The minimum package of alterations, in addition to the third axis, includes a modified suspension with increased by 200 mm ground clearance, BFGoodrich off-road tires on the original 20-inch wheels, unique bumpers, tubular arcs behind the cab and additional LED optics.
The revision of the engine: the standard V8 6.2 was supplemented with a mechanical HPE700 supercharger and a new exhaust system. As a result, its recoil increased from 426 hp and 624 Nm to 715 hp and 915 Nm! Developers expect the Goliath to accelerate to 60 miles per hour (97 km / h) in about four seconds - even despite the increased mass.
The price of the new Hennessey Goliath 6x6 starts from 375 thousand dollars (this price also includes the donor Silverado). This three-axis leviathan will be produced in limited edition of 24 copies.
