National carrier Oman Air has won two prestigious design accolades - best New First Class 2018 and Best New Lounge 2018 in TheDesignAir Awards 2018.

The Design Air Awards was established six years ago to mark the best projects in the field of airlines from around the world. A jury of eight experts in the field of aviation and design awarded Oman Air the title after the opening of the National Passenger Terminal. Muscat International Airport and the opening of first-class private apartments on the new Boeing 9-787 aircraft. This is a translation of Oman Air’s commitment to providing the best designs and, therefore, the best travel experience for its guests (leave the word "passengers" outside the door of oriental hospitality).

“Oman has such a rich heritage and inspires us through design and also an inherent sense of hospitality and service. It is a great honour to receive such positive feedback from our guests and industry experts alike.” - said Oman Air CEO Abdulaziz bin Saud Al-Rashed. For us it is a great honor and a sure sign of the satisfaction of our traveling guests, as well as the gratitude of industry experts. ”

“We are delighted to be recognised as the leading airline in design. Oman Air’s guest experience, brand, and product development teams worked collaboratively to create our bespoke First Class cabin and lounge offerings, and we were delighted with the results.”

“Oman Air is the leading airline in the Middle East, especially when it comes to product design,” said Johnny Clark, founder of The Design Air. Sultanate of Oman. While the first-class suites feature elegant, contemporary design, the first-class and business-class lounge at the passenger terminal at Muscat International Airport provides a luxurious space for travelers. ”

This achievement follows several Oman Air awards this year, underscoring the carrier’s commitment to excellence and quality among airlines, as well as its reputation in the field of tourism.
