Honda Motor Aviation Division reported on the results of work in 2018. As the press service of Honda Aircraft Company (HACI) reported, over the past year, the company has shipped 37 HondaJet aircraft to customers.

For the second year in a row, HACI ranks second in the world in sales among manufacturers of small jet aircraft. In the first place - the Canadian Bombardier Aerospace. In total, according to the American Aircraft Manufacturers Association GAMA, in the world in 2018, 703 new ultra-compact, compact and medium-sized jets were sold.

In 2018, Honda introduced a modernized version of its aircraft, which is characterized by an increased range, improved aerodynamics and a reduced acceleration distance during takeoff.

At present, Honda Jets are officially in sale in all major markets - in the USA, Canada, China, Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, India and Japan. Since the start of mass production in 2015, 100 Honda Jets were built.

HACI was founded in 2006, it is 100% owned by Honda Motor. The headquarters and production facilities of the company are located in the USA.

HondaJet is equipped with two turbojet engines HF120 of its own design and production of Honda Motor. The flight range on a single kerosene tank of this aircraft is 2,234 km. The maximum speed is 782 km / h, cruising speed is 682 km / h, the practical ceiling is 13,000 meters.

The maximum cabin height of 8,000 feet - even at a maximum flight level of 43,000 feet - allows passengers to feel less reactive and more refreshed after flying.

The price of one HondaJet is $ 5.2 million.
