Switzerland-based Comlux Aviation has taken delivery of the first of three ACJ320neo aircraft, which will now enter VIP cabin-outfitting by Comlux Completion in Indianapolis. It is the largest customer for the ACJ320neo Family, which has already won a total of 11 orders. The CFM International Leap-1A-powered aircraft (MSN8638) will now enter cabin outfitting at US sister company Comlux Completion, with the finished VIP airliner scheduled for re-delivery in around 12 months.

The new ACJ320neo gives us the means to deliver nonstop flights to even more of the world. CFM International has supported Comlux over the years, and we have chosen its new, fuel-efficient and highly reliable LEAP-1A engines to power the aircraft. Comlux Completion will install a unique VIP cabin interior, using the most advanced technologies to offer the best comfort and luxury to our customer,” says Comlux Executive Chairman and CEO Richard Gaona.

Airbus’ A320 Family pioneered features that are now standard in most new-generation business jets – such as enhanced-protection fly-by-wire controls, cost-saving centralized maintenance, and weight-saving carbon fiber – ensuring that it has a long and successful future ahead of it.

The ACJ320neo can fly 25 passengers for 13h, or 6,000nm (11,100km), says Airbus. The ACJ320neo family uses new engines and wingtip-mounted Sharklets to deliver a 15 percent fuel-saving, which also translates into a leap forward in range for business jet operators.

The first ACJ320neo was delivered in January to the UK luxury charter company Acropolis Aviation. The aircraft is now undergoing cabin outfitting at AMAC Aerospace's completion center in Basel, Switzerland and is scheduled to enter service at the end of the year.

The ACJ320neo aircraft have three times more inside space than traditional large business jets, with similar range and operating costs and it fits in similar parking spaces. With new engines and Sharklets, the ACJ320neo Family delivers a better range and better comfort. ACJ’s fully customizable interiors give customers the greatest choice of wide and spacious cabins, presenting inspiring and infinite possibilities in creating unique spaces that offer the best comfort and functions. The new concept also focuses on providing a more attractive environment that is both quieter and better adapted to providing sound and vision in a “home cinema” setting.

Airbus corporate jets already have a reputation for comfort, reliability, and value, already enjoy similar operating costs to traditional business jets through their airliner heritage and are now even more economical in their NEO versions,” says ACJ President Benoit Defforge.

More than 190 Airbus corporate jets are in service worldwide, flying on every continent, including Antarctica.
